Glossary
/Securities
It is a broad umbrella term for anything you can buy or sell in the financial market that has monetary value. When people say "securities," they are referring to equity shares, government bonds, or mutual fund units. For a document to be legally classified as a security, it must be fungible, meaning one share of Reliance is exactly equal to another share of Reliance. It is a legal blanket term that proves you either own a piece of an asset or someone owes you money.
