/SEBI Full Form
The full form of SEBI is the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
Basically, it is the head authority for India's stock market, meaning no shares or mutual funds get sold without its approval. It was introduced to stop brokers and cheating companies, after investors had lost money due to rigged prices. You usually see its work when it cancels a suspicious IPO, blocks insider trading, or punishes a fund house for lying in its ads.
Before picking stocks watched by the Securities and Exchange Board of India, ensure they actually match your risk appetite first.
