/Listing
This is the exact moment a private company’s shares become available for regular people to trade on the stock exchange. Once the IPO process is completed and the exchange gives its final green light, the stock gets "listed". Before this happens, you cannot easily buy or sell the shares. On the listing day, the stock officially moves from the primary market into the secondary market. A strong listing usually indicates that the IPO was in high demand from institutional investors.
