What is the Full Form of BTST?
The full form of BTST is Buy Today Sell Tomorrow.
Stock markets take two whole working days for the legal transfer of shares into your demat account. But what if you see a quick upside today and want out tomorrow? BTST lets you sell the shares before they even arrive. Brokers allow this trade, but it involves a catch. If the delivery fails for some reason, the exchange will slap you with a brutal auction penalty.
