LTCG Full Form

What is the Full Form of LTCG?

The full form of LTCG is Long-Term Capital Gains.

This is the tax you pay when you make a profit on stocks you held for a long time. How long? More than 12 months. The good part is that up to 1 lakh rupees of this profit is totally tax-free every single year. Cross that 1 lakh mark, and the government takes a 10% cut on the extra amount. It’s exactly why long-term investors try to plan their stock sales carefully instead of rushing.
