/EPF Full Form
The full form of EPF is Employees' Provident Fund.
Look at your salary slip, and you will spot a small chunk of your income going toward this. It is a government-backed retirement corpus in which both you and your employer contribute 12% of your basic pay monthly. The money sits there compounding tax-free until you retire or leave your job. Most people just let it grow quietly, but you can also withdraw a partial amount for specific emergencies, such as buying a house.
