The full form of HNI is High Net Worth Individual.
It’s really just a fancy banking term for rich people. Basically, if you have over 2 to 5 crores to invest, banks put you in this special club. Why? Because you bring in big money. So, they treat you differently, giving you lower fees, a dedicated relationship manager, and sometimes early access to good IPO shares. Normal retail guys often track what HNIs are buying to figure out where the smart money is going.
