/Returns
Simply put, it is the money you make or lose on top of what you originally put in. If you invest ₹10,000 and it grows to ₹12,000, that extra ₹2,000 is your return. You can look at it in absolute terms (just the raw number) or as a percentage to compare it against other options. Smart investors always look at annualized returns to see what their money made over a full year, rather than just looking at a flat profit number that took five years to build.
