What is the Full Form of MTF?
The full form of MTF is Margin Trading Facility.
Want to buy ₹1 lakh worth of shares but only have ₹25,000? Your broker can cover the rest using this facility. They basically lend you the money against your existing stocks. Sounds great until the stock drops. If it falls too significantly, the broker will forcibly sell your shares to recover their funds. It's highly risky and not for beginners who can't handle sudden margin calls.
